Becoming a Notary Public
To become a Notary Public in Minnesota, you must first apply to:

Registration
The Secretary of State office will issue you a Notary Commission card that must be registered in the county where you reside.
To register in Koochiching County, please bring your Notary Commission card, $20 and a photo ID to the Recorder's Office. (Check payable to: Koochiching County Treasurer)
