PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING HELD BY THE KOOCHICHING COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
On Tuesday, November 27, 2001; 7:00 p.m.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioners Hanson, McBride, Lepper, Chezick, Pavleck

MEMBERS ABSENT: None

OTHERS ATTENDING: Ann Scholler, Carol Pavleck, Bob Peterson

PURPOSE: Receive public comment on the proposal to combine the
elected Auditor and Treasurer positions

The Board Chair opened the meeting at 7:10 p.m. to receive public comment on the proposal to combine the elected Auditor and Treasurer positions for the next term of office (1/1/2003). The Coordinator reported that no written comment was received. The Board Chair opened the meeting for comment: Bob Peterson stated that the combination of the elected positions was a good idea. No other members of the public were present at the meeting. The Board Chair closed the meeting at 7:11 p.m.

The Coordinator was instructed to put the item on either the 12/11 or 12/18 agenda for the Board to make its decision. Coordinator will submit a recommendation at that time.
