County TV Service Now Restored

As of Tuesday, September 18th,  both of the towers providing County TV service in the International Falls and Birchdale areas have been upgraded to work with the lower channels .  TV viewers in the area should now be able to pick up the lower frequency channels by re-scanning.  Unfortunately, the older arrow type antennas may be unable to detect the lower channels.

Due to the sale of the UHF frequencies historically used by the County TV Service translators to provide free over the air UHF TV, this service has been temporarily disrupted effective August 2, 2018.  The county has provided funding to have the translators upgraded and service will resume on the lower channels once the equipment has been installed.

Please click here to access the list of programs and the channels that they will be using once the new translators have been installed.
