Railroad Ties- Please call Environmental Services for Disposal options 218-283-1157
Plastic Sheeting- If plastic sheeting was used for vapor barrier in a wall and it is a total tear down you DO NOT need to remove the plastic sheeting.
Demolition means old building material. A general rule of thumb is that if it was attached to a building it can go in Demo. There are exceptions like Carpet, and treated wood (unacceptable) so if in doubt give us a call 283-1157
Failure to comply may result in increased fees, long delays at the facility, and possible load rejection, which means your load must first be separated before it can be accepted.
Violating these rules could result in fines, and even closure of the demolition site, from the MPCA.
